A Stay with a Story
Named for Catherine Molle, wife of Lieutenant-Governor George James Molle, this cottage stands as one of Hobart’s oldest surviving heritage properties — a living piece of Tasmanian history with a soul of its own.

The neighbourhood

Located on the cusp of the Hobart CBD. You a few minutes walk away from the city center with easy access to both South Hobart and West Hobart .

A few meters away is the Hobart Rivulet walking track which is certainly worth exploring, the track leads up through Cascade gardens to Cascade Brewery.

The property is to be left clean and tidy on departure, with all food rubbish taken out to the bins provided outside.

No additional guests not included in the reservation allowed to stay.

We ask the furniture and fittings throughout the property is treated with respect. Should there be breakage or damage during your stay, please kindly advice us.
Any breakage or damage will incur additional costs.

The cottage is to be left in good condition on departure. Additional cleaning fee can be charged if extra cleaning is required that goes above the standard clean.

As the cottage is in a shared residential block, please be mindful of other tenancies and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm.

Please be respectful of furniture, applicances , bedding and sheets during your stay. Any wilful damage will incur replacement costs to the guest.

Other things to note

Please note that there is NO PARKING provided with this property. All day parking in the city is mostly paid parking.

Whilst there is street parking, it is limited to 1-2 hours during business hours during the week. After 6pm, street parking around the area is free till 8am the next morning.

There are 12 steps from the main road leading to the property.
The cottage shares a courtyard boundary with another residence, thus consideration regarding noise is appreciated after 8pm.
Maximum capacity is for 2 people in this property.
